The next morning, Brianna's eyes fluttered open, but the girl was in awe, seeing the Lorax asleep on her bed, but didn't want to wake him up as he looked tired but got out of bed quietly, as she went to get breakfast, but got pancakes, but grabbed a bag of marshmallows, knowing how the orange furred forest guardian loved the treats, as she was wearing green pyjamas and went upstairs, to her room and was smiling seeing the Lorax was still asleep placing the bag of marshmallows beside him, as she was sitting cross legged on the floor eating pancakes but she couldn't help herself, as the Lorax was in her room, sleeping on her bed.

"Brianna, let's go downstairs and eat." Audrey said.

The young girl nodded going downstairs, but hoped the Lorax would be there when she got back upstairs but Audrey understood, as the young girl was happy seeing the forest guardian in her room, but wondered about the marshmallows.

"He likes them, Aunt Audrey." she replied.

She smiled at Brianna's cuteness, as she hoped things were okay, but the young girl was probably gonna go to the forest, but saw her eating but drinking juice.

She was done, but going to get dressed.

The Lorax's eyes fluttered open, rubbing sleep from his eyes as he'd been asleep for too long, but smiled seeing marshmallows, knowing the girl knew what he liked but was eating, as he heard footsteps, hiding under the bed, but Brianna sighed, seeing he wasn't there as she was getting dressed, but was sitting on her bed, hugging her bear, but knew he was probably in the forest, but heard a belch from under the bed.

She then crawled under but smiled broadly seeing the Lorax eating, but she couldn't help.

"Hey, mister Lorax." she said softly.

The orange furred forest guardian nearly jumped out of his fur, but relaxed seeing her, as he nearly choked in a marshmallow but she rubbed his back softly, but he was shy, but knew she was trying to help.

"Thanks, kid." he said softly.

"You're welcome, mister Lorax.

You're shy, huh?

I'm like that too, but don't have much friends." she said.

He nodded understanding, but he needed to go back to the forest.

I'll see you there, kid." he told her.

She nodded, seeing him leave, but she was going to the forest, grabbing her backpack, but leaving the house, but heading out of town to go to the forest, but she hoped to have fun.

Ted smiled, knowing the Lorax had been here last night, but knew that Brianna was probably with the Lorax.

The Lorax smiled, as he and the Once-ler were sitting on a rug under a Truffula tree but he was telling the Beanpole about Brianna, but the old man smiled, knowing that she was the perfect medicine for the forest guardian's lonely heart but they were having tea, but saw Brianna there, but she was scared seeing the Once-ler but the Lorax understood as he sensed she found it hard to trust others but he would show her that the beanpole wasn't so bad, as she sat beside the Lorax but looking up at the tree.

"It's so beautiful, huh?" she said softly.

The Lorax nodded as he was pouring tea from a teapot in the Once-let's house but putting honey in it, that he'd gotten from the bees in the forest, but the Once-ler understood as he knew some of the people in town were wary of him, in case he hurt the forest again, but the Lorax trusted him, but Brianna was lying on the rug, but he smiled as it was cute.

"It's okay, to be yourself here.

I know that a certain guardian of the trees Is shy like you are.

He normally keeps to himself, but comes to me.

But I'm getting old, but maybe you can help him.

Even though the animals of the forest are his friends, he gets lonely.

Maybe you can help, fill that void." the Once-ler said.

Brianna nodded shyly, as the Lorax joined them, after helping the Humming Fish with something but wondered what was going on, but the Once-ler said he would tell him later.

They were then having fun and exploring the forest.
